Singapore Polytechnic Solaris Visit

Afther going for the trip to science centre, I felt that it was an awesome trip. I had never experience such an interesting place before. Inside science centre, I realize that the place had explain countless number of questions in my mind. For example, why the Earth is rotating in 23.9 degrees. I had alot of fun in the science centre. My teacher also used this chance to teach me lots of new chapters in science. I also have a great intrest in chemisry. Because it was fun when I look at the chemical reactions of a substance. I will surely come to vist science centre again when I have a chance.

The Bright Trip TO Singapore Polytechnic

Phew was that day sunny! It felt pretty cool, having seen rows and rows of solar panels and getting to even touch them. I also learnt quite a lot of things about energy and stuff but i must agree that most of these was learnt in the science textbook already. What were new to me was how the solar panels work, how they absorb energy, how much electricity they produce, the concepts of energy usage and how we are able to reduce the demands to stop wasting electricity.

After the talk, we were brought to the roofttop to see the solar panels. Walking the long stretch of roads and climbing up the rows of stairs, we finally reached the rooftop. Haha, and there my was, joking about why the polytechnic needs solar energy. Anyways, The rooftop was what seemed like a frying pan to others. As for me, i was used to it anyway, being in NPCC. But, the sight of solar panels was quite extroadinary. I did not know how they actually looked liked. Foolishly i went and touched 1 of the panels and Whoa was it hot!

Ah after that, we were leaving singapore polytechic. I was getting quite nervous since i was late for my cca. BUT!, this was a very fun trip to be!~

The Trip To Singapore Polytechnic

The project solaris was a once-a-life-time opportunity for me to visit singapore polytechnic . At there , we had a talk . Through the talk , we learn more about solar energy and its purpose . The lecturer also taught us the reason why we have to promote solar energy as an alternative source for electricity and how it works . After the talk , we went to the solar farm which is located on the rooftop . There , we get to see and touch the arrays of solar panel .

The trip has taught me alot , the information collected allowed us to know more about solar energy and will definitely help us in the Solaris project . I find this trip memorable and fruitful , and has actually fuelled my passion to do more for the environment .

Learning Journey to the Singapore Polytechnic

We went to Singapore Poly to know more about alternative energy sources especially solar energy for our Project Solaris. We learned about the Photovoltaic cells that can convert the light energy from the sun to electrical energy. We saw the arrays of solar panels on their roof. The slide presentation was highly informative as it showed us the importance of alternative energy sources, instead of relying on the fossil fuels as they are depleting fast. At the end of the journey, I was glad to have learned all these facts about energy and this trip definatly will help me in doing project solaris.

my feeling about trip to singapore polytechnic

That day, it ws a early dismissal. I followed my class to Singapore Polytecnic for the learning journey about the using of solar energy. I learnt a lot on the ways of using solar energy. I also realised that the importantce of saving energy. I learnt about the alternative energy sources. The solar energy is also enviromentaly friendly. My second opinion was that the professor is very friendly and patient he answered all of my questions carefully and accurately. At the end of the learning journey, I feel very contented of the trip, it was really a fruitful journey.

Singapore Polytechnic Visit

I felt that the Singapore PolyTechnic visit about the solaris project is really intersting as we learn about how they work and their different uses. We went there by bus around 11:15 and reach there about 30 minutes later. We went into an room where the teachers there presented us alot things about the solar panels. They told us how rapid fossil fuels are decreasing and the depletion of ozone layer, where global warming occurs and kills precious animals around us. They had also introduced us with many other different ways to produce electricity such as tidal energy,Hydro energy, wind energy, biomass and other more.

After around 30 minutes of explaining, we took sometime to walk to the solar panels. It is quite a long walk as i did not know that Singapore PolyTechnic was so big. We went up the building by stairs and reached the top with all the big solar panels around. They looks cool and shiny where many people took pictures around it. It looks fragile too and many did not dare to touch it. After this, we went back to school and i felt that this is a really intresting and enjoyable trip we had.
